Owners

Kim and Phil having taken over this lovely family run business in 2022.We love pets and have there dogs ,Gracie and Jessie and Lilly who can’t wait to meet all their new friends. We also have horses.

We have both worked with animals, kim for the rspca and phil in an owl sanctuary. We are looking forward to giving your lovely pets a holiday at the kennels.

An excellent dog and cat boarding establishment

Orchard kennels and cattery is a long established boarding business, set in its own 13 acres of picturesque grounds in the heart of the beautiful and tranquil Towy valley. The kennels and cattery have been purpose built to a very high standard offering excellent facilities to accommodate your beloved pets. The premises are fully insured, and are inspected and licenced by the local authority annually. The facilities are highly regarded and recommended by the local veterinary practices in the area. We can accommodate all breeds of dogs and cats for both long and short stays. Special diets and veterinary requirements can be catered for. All pets must be fully vaccinated and dogs must have received kennel cough nasal spray to be boarded with us. Viewing is strongly encouraged by appointment only please. Terms and conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE Once acceptance of your pet/pets has been made by Orchard Kennels and Cattery, these following terms and conditions apply. Any person entering the Kennels and Cattery do so at their own risk, and if they are accompanied by children, they must be kept under control at all times. We also require a kennel cough vaccine (minimum of 14 days before their stay) to ensure a safe environment for all pets. Customers should consult their vets regarding precautions against kennel cough. We cannot detect a carrier of the virus entering our kennels. Cats MUST have been vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu within the last 12 months. Vaccination Certificates MUST BE SHOWN ON ENTRY TO KENNELS AND CATTERY. We will not take animals without up-to-date certificates.

Extra services, as stated on your booking form, if required, are priced separately and added to your final bill. Animals are boarded at the sole risk of their owners, and while every care will be taken, the management cannot be liable for illness, injury, or death of any animal in their care during their pet holiday. Animals are accepted at the owner's risk, and every care is taken with your pet/s. We accept no responsibility for accidents or illness. If we decide, in the best interests of your pet, that they may need some veterinary attention while in the Kennels & Cattery services, we will take them to either your regular vet or a local vet depending on their condition, and this will be at the owner's expense. This will either be billed directly to you from your vet or added to your bill upon collection of your pet.

You may bring any items of food, bedding, playthings, etc., for your pet, but please note that Orchard Kennels and Cattery DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY for their condition or safe return, and they are left solely at the owner's risk. Any belongings that are soiled during the boarding period may have to be destroyed. All carriers, beds, bedding, and toys must be clearly marked with the owner's name, and we ask you to keep a record of items handed over; it is up to the owners to ask for them at the end of the stay.

If you have two or more dogs and you do not wish them to be housed together, you must state this on your booking form or send separate booking forms for each animal before you bring them into the kennels. If you have two or more cats and you do not wish them to be housed together, you must also state this on your booking form or send separate booking forms for each animal before you bring them into the cattery. Prices quoted apply at the time of writing and could be subject to change at any time. All dates booked by you are chargeable unless 10 days notice is given, which also includes entry day and departure day (if pick up is in the afternoon). Payments are required on collection or on a monthly basis; vaccination fees, special diets, and all further treatment where required will be charged to your account. You can pay by cash or bank transfer. We may add additional charges for out-of-hours drop-off and collection or for food provided. Should your animal not be vaccinated correctly, then they will not be able to stay, and you will be charged for your stay.

The copyright of all photographs taken and displayed at the kennels and cattery and on their website belongs solely to Orchard Kennels and Cattery. All rights reserved. I, the owner of the pet/pets, hereby give permission to Orchard Farm Kennels and Cattery to re-home my pet/pets if I fail to notify them of any changes in circumstances over the phone, text, or in writing, or fail to collect my pet/pets within 14 days of the arranged date of collection. I undertake to abide by these terms and conditions. I also consent that whenever necessary, I agree to my pet/pets being examined and treated by a veterinary surgeon.
